Job Brief:

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Storekeeper to join their team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of UAE experience in the furniture industry and possess a minimum high school diploma. The Storekeeper will be responsible for overseeing inventory management, storage, quality control, documentation, and reporting, as well as receiving and dispatching goods.

Job Responsibilities:

– Oversee and maintain inventory control including storage and organization of all furniture products.

– Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure all products meet the required standards.

– Maintain detailed documentation and reports related to inventory and stock movements.

– Efficiently handle the receiving and dispatching of furniture items, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.

– Utilize inventory management software and systems to track and manage stock levels effectively.

– Demonstrate physical strength and stamina to handle and move heavy furniture items as needed.

– Pay meticulous attention to detail and ensure accuracy in record-keeping for all stock movements.

– Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent shortages while avoiding overstocking.

– Keep detailed records of all inventory-related transactions, including receipts, issuances, and returns.

– Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.

Job Requirements:

– Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Storekeeper in the furniture industry in the UAE.

– High school diploma or equivalent.

– Fluency in English is mandatory.

– Proven skills in Inventory Management, Storage and Organization, Quality Control, Documentation and Reporting, and Receiving and Dispatching.

– Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.

– Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.

– Physical strength and stamina to handle and move heavy items.

– Attentiveness to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
